After breakfast, the bus will take you along large rice paddy fields to Van Don Island. After lunch, you start your first biking tour on Van Don. Along dirt paths, you will cross the heavily wooded center of the island and then reach the coastal road which offers you a first glimpse onto the bizarre rock world of Bai Tu Long Bay. Later, check in on your junk and enjoy the first crossing on the classic wooden boat with the wooden carved dragon at the prow.

In the morning, your boat takes you to the island of Tra Ban which is one of dense jungle and especially renowned for its huge range of colorful butterflies. You will enjoy a biking tour on narrow paths through the green rice fields, see the water buffaloes, a typical imagine for Viet Nam and then you will meet up with the boat. During lunch on board, a brief crossing takes you to Quan Lan Island, a pristine beauty featuring unspoiled environment. Day 5: Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay (kayaking day) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

This day begins with a visit to the Sung Sot Cave, the largest and among nicest caves in Ha Long Bay and one which really deserves its name. You will be mesmerized by the beautifully illuminated limestone formations. Afterward, we will leave our junk and move with our luggage onto a smaller ship taking us to the bay of Lan Ha. From there, we will have once kayak excursion that takes us to a picturesque beach. We will have lunch there and plenty of time for swimming in the emerald-green sea. In the afternoon, you will be picked up at the beach and taken to a small landing on Cat Ba, from where a bus transfers us to our resort. Stay overnight in our resort in Catba.

Early in the morning, transfer back to the place you left the ship the previous day. Move to another place from where, you will ride bikes to a remote village of the Viet Hai ethnic minority. Leave your bikes there and set off your exciting walk with the tour guide through this primary forest that will amaze you with its wild pristine flora and giant colorful butterflies. The destination is one of the island's highest mountains which, on a clear day, present a grandiose view across Ha Long Bay and the entire island. Then you will take a ride back to the boat and end the day quietly on the private beach of the Sunrise resort. Overnight at the hotel in Catba.

Here we will spend time having lunch and refreshing before the Hydrofoil comes to take us back to the mainland. From there, be transferred by bus back to Hanoi. Your day in Hue will be more impressive with a leisurely boat trip on the dreamy Perfume River. On the way, visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, which is one of the oldest and prettiest religious buildings in the country. Afterward, a transfer bus takes us to one of the famous Vietnamese Emperor’s graves such as Khai Dinh King and Minh Mang Kinh Tombs. After lunch, our discovery will continue by bus to Hoi An.  Before reaching Hoi An, we will make a brief stop at the Cloud Pass, the weather line between North and South Vietnam. Hoi An, once the most important port of Southeast Asia, is not only famous for its antique architecture but also its well-known street corners which touch people's hearts. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

The sightseeing tour of Hoi An, which is a World Heritage Site, is the most twinkling point of this morning. Our tour guide takes us around this picturesque little town with its abundance of historical buildings, many dating back as far as the 16th century and which, despite changing fortunes, have survived unscathed. Still before noon, we will cycle to the ancient pottery village of Thanh Ha, where we can admire Vietnamese craftsmanship and perhaps even try our own hand at pottery making. After a break for lunch, our ride will direct to Cua Dai Beach where white sands extend for more than 30 km. Overnight at the hotel in Hoi An.

You will keep on your cycles to Can Duoc where you board your ship, which takes you first on an interesting cruise along the Cho Gao Canal and then on to the Mekong River. Along the route you can admire the luxuriant flora of the Delta and enjoy glimpses into the local life so closely interwoven with the river. In the afternoon, you will tie up at My Tho and explore Thoi Ton Island where you can enjoy exotic fruits and all sorts of handicrafts. In the morning you will cross over to Vingh Long Island, a classic Mekong Delta country and under palm-shaded paths your biking tour will start discovering around the island. You will continue sailing to Tra On Island where you have once more the opportunity to explore the surroundings by bike. Later on you will taste the excellent cuisine on board and the wonderful evening atmosphere in the water labyrinth of the Mekong Delta.

During the breakfast on board, you will be taken to Can Tho, where you transfer to a small boat leading to Cai Rong, the most famous floating market of the Delta. You remember to take the cameras along not to miss chances to capture unique and beautiful photos. The following cruise through the small tributaries of the Delta will complete your visit in the south. After lunch on board of the Conchinchine, check out and be transferred back to Ho Chi Mingh City for departure flight.
